Are New Year Parties Banned In Delhi? Know These Guidelines To Avoid Trouble

New Year 2022 Celebration: If you want to have a New Year's party today and plan to hang out or party with family and friends, then this news is important for you. You should know where you can go in Delhi and what are the restrictions as per the latest guidelines issued amid a rise in Covid-19 cases and Omicron threat.  

1. Yellow alert continues in Delhi. Night curfews are in force from 10 pm to 5 am. In that case, if you are out, you will have to wind up your party before 10 pm. 

2. Restaurants and bars are open in Delhi, but they will also close by 10 pm. Restaurants and bars are allowed to run at 50 per cent capacity. They will be open from 8 am to 10 pm.

3. There is no restriction on friends visiting each other's homes and gathering privately but night curfew will come into effect in Delhi from 10 pm. So you have to return before 10 pm. 

4. There is a ban on picnics in parks. Apart from taking a walk in the park, you can go for jogging.

5. Monuments and historical sites are open, but here you need to strictly follow Covid rules, including wearing masks and social distancing.

6. Unnecessary movement is restricted after 10 pm due to night curfew.

7. Metro trains will run at 50 per cent capacity.  A yellow alert has been issued currently. An orange alert may also be issued if the positivity rate is high. Metro services may also be stopped.

8. Malls will be open from 10 am to 8 pm on odd-even basis.

9. Entertainment parks, amusement parks, and water parks will remain closed.

10. Gyms, religious places, banquet halls, schools, and cinemas have been closed in Delhi.
