According to an internal survey conducted by TMC, in the upcoming elections, BJP may get 98 seats and Mamata Banerjee's vote share might get a spike of little more than 51 per cent.

Kolkata: As the assembly elections of West Bengal is approaching, Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC), and the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) are claiming to win a full majority in the upcoming elections. In order to get the pulse of the state and to work on permutations-combinations TMC has conducted a survey. Amid various claims, it is learned by ABP News, as per the internal survey of TMC the party will be able to win around 190 seats in the 294 seat Assembly Polls. In 2016, the party was able to win 211 seats. As per Shantanu Sen’s claims the party vote share may increase from the districts of Darjeeling, Birbhum, Malda, Murshidabad, Cooch Behar, Paschim Bardhaman, Nadia, and Kolkata. He also claimed that people across the state are happy with the functioning of the TMC government. BJP is however not taking the survey seriously. BJP’s West Bengal deputy Ritesh Tiwari stated that such surveys are conducted to encourage the party workers even though the TMC knows that they are on the verge of defeat. He asserted that the TMC is nowhere close to 190 seats and BJP is the only party that can win 200 seats in the upcoming state assembly elections. BJP Gaining Momentum It is worth mentioning, in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, BJP won 18 seats out of 42 which accordingly converts to 121 assembly seats and the magic figure in the state is 148. With that figures in mind, Senior BJP leaders believe that the NDA is growing big in the state and with the anti-incumbency factor it may be able to form the government. Also, TMC leaders joining BJP every day is also helping the national party gain momentum in the state.
