PM Modi Speech Highlights, Independence Day 2023: PM Modi shared his own vision of Amrit Kaal, he recited a poem with the central idea that India shines bright during the next phase of independence.
PM Modi Speech Highlights: As the celebrations on the 75 years of India's independence called 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' comes to an end, Prime Minister welcomed the nation to a new era focused on 100 years of Independence which will be known as the 'Amrit Kaal'. During his 2023 Independence Day speech, his 10th straight speech from the ramparts of Red Fort, PM Modi said the resolve should be when the tricolour is unfurled in 2047 it is of "developed India".
As PM Modi shared his own vision of Amrit Kaal, he recited a poem with the central idea that India shines bright during the next phase of independence. Here are the words from the poem that Prime Minister Narendra Modi uttered during the 77th independence day.
"Chalta chalata kaal chakra, Amrit kaal ka bhaal chakra, sabke sapne apne sapne, panpe sapne saare, dheer chale veer chale, chale yuva humare, neeti sahi reeti naayi, gati sahi raah nayi, chuno chunauti seena taan, jag mein badhao desh ka naam..."

India is at a decisive turning point and has the strength to shape the new world order that was emerging in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic, Prime Minister assured the countrymen of a "New India" with a bright future in the next five years. In his 10th consecutive Independence Day speech, also his last before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Prime Minister said in 2014, people decided to take the country forward.
"India was freed from the era of instability. In 2014, we were the 10th largest economy. Today with the efforts of 140 crore citizens we have become the 5th largest economy in the world...This did not happen just like that. The demon of corruption that had the country in its clutches - we stopped leakages and created a strong economy," he said during his I-Day speech.
