WATCH: Amid cash crunch, 'its raining notes' in Gujarat; folk singers showered with Rs 40 lakh

New Delhi: Thousands have been standing in queues daily ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 8 announced the move to demonetize high currency notes to fight the menace of black money. The event was organised for the Gujjar society. In the video, an unhesitant audience is seen showering the bhajan singers with hundreds of currency notes.
