Viral PICS: Rs 2000 note, hoax or leaked?

New Delhi: The images Rs. 2000 note have gone viral on social media. It has been trending as the photos are said to be leaked. ALSO READ: Rs 500, Rs 1,000 notes declared illegal from midnight On 21st October, The Hindu Business Line reported, “Banknotes of the denomination of Rs 2000 will be in circulation soon. The Reserve Bank of India has very nearly completed preparations for introducing this new high-value currency.” The finance daily added that, “The notes have already been printed, and their dispatch from the currency printing press in Mysuru has commenced.” There has been no official reply on the notes printed, from RBI or the government. These images have been shared by a Facebook account with the name Clins Cleetus.
