UP: Dentist Gets Attacked With Knife By Patient Having Toothache After Argument Ensues Over Waiting Period
This incident has been reported after a shocking video surfaced wherein a doctor couple was shot dead inside their car in broad daylight on Friday by unidentified bikers in Bharatpur.
Greater Noida: A 21-year-old youth was accused of attacking a dentist in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida after reportedly an argument ensued between both over a prolonged waiting period.
Reports stated that a man named Mohammad Kumail (aged 21), a resident of Jarcha village visited dentist Ajay Ghosh Sharma (aged 45) at around 11 am on Saturday in the Dadri area after he was experiencing a toothache.

The dentist was not available immediately due to a waiting period and after some time, Kumail allegedly picked up an argument with the dentist over being made to wait.
As the altercation went on, he attacked the dentist with a knife leading to the latter being injured. The dentist was taken to the nearest medical facility and the incident was reported to the police.
According to the report by Hindustan Times, the police rushed to the spot and nabbed Kumail. A case of attempt to murder under IPC Section 308 has been registered against him.
“Kumail… had gone to see the doctor around 11 am. There was a waiting period. After a while, he got fed up and got into an argument with Sharma… The victim [after Kumail attacked him with the knife] was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Sharma sustained minor injuries as the knife was blunt,” the report quoted additional deputy commissioner of police (Zone 3) Vishal Pandey as saying.

The victims have been identified as Sudeep Gupta and his wife Seema Gupta, both medical doctors by profession. The couple were in their car when two bike-borne miscreants stopped in front of them, one when to the driver's window most likely Dr. Sudeep Gupta and started firing on them indiscriminately then turned to Dr. Seema Gupta and fired shots, leaving both dead on the spot. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV in the area.
"We have identified the accused. Investigation revealed that one of the accused is brother of the 2019 incident's victim, who was murdered. Search underway," said police according to news agency ANI.
