TMC MP Mimi Chakraborty's Health Deteriorates After Taking Jab In Fake Vaccination Camp
TMC MP Mimi Chakraborty had taken the first dose of Covid vaccine in Kasba earlier this week, which was later revealed to be a fake camp.
Kolkata: Trinamool Congress MP, Mimi Chakraborty is undergoing medical treatment at home after she started feeling pain in the stomach since early morning.
Her health has deteriorated since she took the covid 19 vaccine at a fake vaccination camp in Kasba earlier this week.
She has been suffering from problems with her gall bladder.
On the other hand, the accused Debanjan Deb who claimed himself to be an IAS officer with the Government of West Bengal has been arrested for forgery and various illegal activities.
Deb had organised two fake vaccination camps, one in Kasba, the other at Amherst street.
Mimi got jabbed at the centre at Kasba on Wednesday. The matter came to light after Chakraborty, who was invited to one such camp, did not receive any text message or vaccination certificate after being jabbed. She alerted her office to check the veracity of the vaccination programme being run by Deb.
Soon after getting suspicious of the activities at the camp she together with local administration and police busted the scam.
