Terror Funding Case: Two Held By UP ATS From Bareilly

A car and three mobile phones have been recovered from the two.

Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh): In a major success for the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the UP Police, two persons were arrested on Thursday in connection with terror funding. The arrests were made from Izzat Nagar in Bareilly. The two persons held were identified as Sirajuddin and Faheem. The ATS had previously arrested Ummed Ali, Sanjay Agarwal, Sameer Salmani and Airaj Ali, all natives of Lakhimpur in UP. On the basis of their information, Sirajuddin and Faheem were caught. A car and three mobile phones have been recovered from the two. Reports say the duo used to deposit money from Pakistan into banks in Nepal and then getting it converted into Indian rupees. The funds were collected to sponsor terrorists in India.
