Survey Of Gyanvapi Mosque Expected To Conclude Tomorrow

New Delhi: The survey of the Gyanvapi Masjid will most likely be completed tomorrow, according to Sudhir Tripathi, an advocate representing the Hindu side, news agency ANI reported. The survey began earlier today, with considerable police surveillance.

"There will be a survey tomorrow as well, and it appears that the survey will be completed tomorrow. About 80% of the work has been accomplished," the lawyer stated.

The survey of Gyanvapi Masjid must be completed by May 17 and a full report submitted to the Varanasi Court.

The videography survey's second day began at 8 a.m. on Sunday amid strict security.

"The survey will be done between the hours of 8 a.m. and 12

noon," said Advocate Vishal Singh, the special assistant commissioner designated by the court.

The road near the facility was closed off by the police. On the first day, all of the stores within a 500-meter radius of the complex were closed. The facility will be closed to the public.

“Darshan has been arranged for all. All the routes have been opened so that the visitors do not face any problems and police personnel have been accordingly deployed. Currently, entry is being given to a member of the commission from one gate and devotees are having darshan from the rest,” Varanasi DCP RS Gautam was quoted by ANI in its report.
