PM Modi's Degree Is Historical, Should Be Displayed At Grand Entrance Of New Parliament: Sanjay Raut
Raut said the educational degrees of the country's President, High Court and Supreme Court judges are demanded. Hence, PM Modi’s educational qualification should also be made public.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Monday took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s academic qualifications. He said PM Modi should come forward and inform the people about his qualifications and degrees. In his jibe, Raut took to Twitter and wrote the degree in Political Science is "historical and revolutionary".

He added that PM Modi’s degree should be displayed at the entrance of the new parliament building to end all doubts over it.
The Rajya Sabha member said the lawmakers and the country should be made aware of his educational qualification.
Raut made comments on the row over PM Modi's qualification while talking to reporters in New Delhi on Monday. During his interaction, he said, “The prime minister should come forward and inform us about the degree. The degree certificate was first shown to people by (Union Home Minister) Amit Shah”.
“If the educational degree of the country's President, a High Court/Supreme Court judge or ours can be demanded, then why to hide the educational qualification of the prime minister? I think PM Modi should come forward and give a clarification,” he added, as quoted by news agency PTI.
He also alleged that almost all the BJP leaders have “bogus” degrees. Raut said, "It is a factory of bogus degrees, you know it. Take any name and check their degree.”
His comments have come three days after the Gujarat High Court set aside an order of the Central Information Commission (CIC) asking the Gujarat University to provide information on PM Modi's degree to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The court had noted that both Kejriwal and the CIC were "absolutely casual" in their approach. It also said that there was "indiscriminate misuse" of the RTI Act in this particular case, reported PTI.
The court had also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on Arvind Kejriwal for seeking details about Modi’s academic qualifications.
