PNB scam: Interpol issues Red Corner Notice against Nirav Modi

Sources say that the red corner notices have been issued against Nirav Modi, Neeshal Modi and Subhash Parab in CBI & ED case related to cheating, criminal conspiracy, corruption and money laundering.

 New Delhi: The Interpol on Monday issued a Red Corner Notice (RCN) against Nirav Modi in connection to Rs 13,700 crore Punjab National Bank scam.  A notice has also been issued against Nirav Modi’s brother Nishal Modi and his company executive Subhash Parab in the case. Sources say that the red corner notices have been issued against Nirav Modi, Neeshal Modi and Subhash Parab in CBI & ED case related to cheating, criminal conspiracy, corruption and money laundering. The RCN is likely to help agencies and police in 190 countries to locate and arrest Nirav Modi. The prime accused in PNB scam, Nirav Modi and Mehul Chowski fled the country ahead of PNB’s complaint to CBI against them over the multi-million scam by them.
