PM Modi is all set to address election rallies in Katra ahead of the second phase of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls, scheduled for September 25.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to respond to Pakistan defence minister's statement on the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir's Katra on Thursday.

PM Modi is all set to address election rallies in Katra ahead of the second phase of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls, scheduled for September 25. He will address the rally at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Sports Complex in Katra at 3 pm.

The Pakistan minister's remark has led to a political row, with the BJP slamming the alliance for allegedly running the neighbouring country's agenda in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls.

The Pakistan Defence Minister made the remark after he was asked by a Geo News journalist whether Islamabad and National Conference-Congress alliance are on the same page on the restoration of Article 370 and 35A in J&K.

Khwaja Asif responded by saying, "Absolutely. Even our demand is also the same..."
