PM Narendra Modi reaches Varanasi to address a rally in the poll bound state of UP
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday, took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi and said 'bhukamp' would have come, had some people not spoken.
He also took a potshot at the ex-PM Manmohan Singh for his disagreement over demonetisation and said that by raising objections, the latter is exposing his own misdeeds.
Poverty is Manmohan Singh's legacy, said PM Modi while speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of Mahamana Pt Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre, Varanasi. PM has already addressed many rallies in the Uttar Pradesh.
The Uttar Pradesh, is a poll-bound state with state elections to take place in 2017. The PM is campaigning for BJP. The party has not announced any Chief Ministerial candidate yet.
