PM Modi visits AIIMS for 2nd time in 16 hours as Vajpayee's health continues to remain critical
A number of political leaders have visited the 93-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart since Saturday. Vajpayee has been at AIIMS for the last nine weeks since June 11.
New Delhi: As former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s health became very critical, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the AIIMS to enquire about his health condition.
This was Modi's second visit to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in the last 16 hours.
Party President Amit Shah, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan, and various party leaders including Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi were present inside AIIMS when PM visited.

last 16 hours since Wednesday when the hospital issued a emergency bulletin saying the three time former Prime Minister was "critical and on life support".
He remained "critical and on life support" at the AIIMS even as the hospital came out with Thursday's bulletin.
