PM Modi To Address Webinar On Technology-Enabled Development Sector, To Outline Union Budget Provisions
The webinar is part of a series organised by the government across several sectors to support the smooth implementation of Union Budget announcements.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday will deliver a webinar on the topic of 'technology-enabled development,' outlining action points for implementing the sector's provisions in the Union Budget, news agency PTI reported.
Following the prime minister's talk, four breakout sessions will be held, led by the Departments of Telecommunications, Scientific and Industrial Research, Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

The talks will cover topics such as S&T activities in prominent technology fields, the potential for job creation, enhancing employability, technological self-reliance, the plan for attaining Amrut Kaal's vision of @2047, and proposed courses of action while minimising the compliance load.

The webinar is part of a series organised by the government across several sectors to support the smooth implementation of Union Budget announcements.
The third segment of the webinar will feature Department Secretaries and Ministers addressing action points from the breakout sessions and planning the path forward for execution.
The webinar is being organised by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser in collaboration with scientific ministries and government agencies.
