Parliament Monsoon Session From July 21; Op Sindoor, Judge Impeachment Case Likely To Raise A Storm In House

The Monsoon Session of Parliament will commence on July 21 and conclude on August 12, as announced by Kiren Rijiju.

Parliament's Monsoon Session will begin from July 21 and will continue till August 12, said Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju.

Both Houses of Parliament will convene on July 21 at 11 am, after a break of over three months.

The announcement of the date for Parliament's Monsoon session comes amid the opposition's calls for a special session on the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam and Operation Sindoor

The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recommended the dates, Rijiju added. 

Under the rules, all issue can be discussed during the Monsoon session, the Minister said responding to a question on the opposition's demand.
