Narendra Modi turns Santa Claus: Here's PM's Christmas gift for poor

New Delhi: Santa Claus is again coming on the Christmas to distribute gifts in India but, this time, in the form of Prime Minister Narendra Modi! From December 25th onwards there will we lucky draws under which 15,000 people (each day) will get Rs 1000 each under PM Modi's lucky draw schemes-Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vayapar Yojana. The schemes will continues for 100 days and as a result of which 15 lakh families will get Rs 1000 each. What's more? On December 30th, there will be a big draw and "The prices worth rupees lakhs will be given", said PM Modi Santa. On 14 April, there will be a bumper draw and "The prizes worth rupees crores will be distributed", further informed PM. There is a catch: But, here's a catch. There is a condition for getting the prizes by the Santa Modi. To give a push to online transactions PM Modi has launched lucky draw schemes. "Those people who do online transaction, anywhere, a special number of the same is generated. Those who have done the online transactions, from November 8th to December 24th, a draw of the same will be taken out on 25th December. And on that day, 15,000 lucky winners will get Rs 1000 and the money will be credited to their accounts", said Modi. However, those who have spent more than Rs 50 and less than Rs 3000 will get benefit out of it, PM added. You can't get lucky, twice: One person can't win again. People who will have variety in their cashless transactions, will have brighter chances of winning. One thing is clear, this scheme is not for rich. Private cashless transactions not part of the scheme: And the most important thing, private cashless transactions are not part of this scheme. In other words, those making payments via UPI, USSD and RuPay card will be included in this draw. It apparently seems that PM Modi is trying to give some relief to common people who have been facing much hardship after demonetisation.
