PM Modi addresses nation on the completion of 3 yrs; says 'this is the dawn of honesty'

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed Guwahati along with 125 crore people of the country on the completion of 3 years of government. With a zest to contribute every day in the betterment of this country and claiming to initiate the biggest fight against corruption. PM further recalled the major advances made by BJP government in the last 3 years:
  • Speaking for the movement against corruption he said, “honest envied the dishonest around them and this urged them to leave the path. But this is the dawn of honesty and it will be paid off.” He also added that today only people’s money (‘jandhan’) is heard from everyone and not black money(‘kala dhan’)
 
  • "Black money law was made in 1988 but none of the governments notified it in the last 28 years. No rules were formed" said PM Modi
 
  • Modi also spoke about the farmers' condition and the steps taken by the government to double their income. He said, "we want to double our farmers' income. We want to ensure value addition of agriculture products"
 
  • He criticised the previous governments in power and accused them of ignoring the development of optical fibres in the villages. He also added that "since 2013, BJP government has initiated the development of optical fibres in over 1 lakh villages"
 
  • Talking about the effects of demonetisation he further added, “over 90 lakh people came forward to pay taxes after demonetisation”
 
  • He further added, “4 crore toilets were made across the villages”
 
  • “we launched 104 satellites simultaneously and shocked the world”
