Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the US President Donald Trump on Monday as he arrived in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on his first official visit to India in a bid to strengthen ties between the two countries. On disembarking the aircraft, Trump was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister Modi with the famous 'bear-hug'. The American President along with the first lady Melania Trump will be attending the welcome event named 'Namaste Trump' at the world's largest cricket stadium.
