On Friday, the Supreme Court had expressed concern for conditions in Delhi. A report by PTI said that the bench of Justices Ashok Bhushan, S K Kaul, and M R Shah questioned the government over low testing and why testing had gone down from 7,000 to 5,000 a day.
The Delhi government on its behalf said that they accept the observations of the Apex Court and will ensure that patients are given the best treatment for Covid-19.

Questions were also raised on the death rate of the state after a discrepancy in the number of fatalities released by the state government and Delhi's civic body, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi(MCD).
As per the MCD's figures, as many as 2,098 corpses of Covid-19 patients have been cremated by its various divisions. Responding to the allegations made by MCD, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain slammed the civic body and said the COVID-19 death audit committee is "working impartially".
