Lucknow: Two groups clash over installing water kiosk in Nazirabad

Over 200 police personnel were deployed in the area.

Lucknow: In UP’s capital, two groups clashed over installing a water kiosk on Sunday. The police took quick action and were able to get the situation under control. As per reports, a man was installing a water stall during a religious event in Najirabad area of Kaiserbagh. A person named Munna, who ran a bicycle stand, beat him stick with a stick. The fight escalated after a heated argument and both sides called supporters, who assaulted each other. Many communal messages were also sent through on WhatsApp and Twitter to instigate the fight.
