Looking forward to working with Nitish: Narendra Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar shortly after he took oath with the BJP as an alliance partner in his government. Modi said he was looking forward to working together for Bihar's progress. Modi also greeted Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, a senior BJP leader. "Congratulations to Nitish Kumarji and Sushil Modiji. Looking forward to working together for Bihar's progress and prosperity," Modi said in a tweet.   Nitish Kumar took the oath of office within hours of quitting the Grand Alliance with the Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress over corruption charges against Tejashwi Yadav. Nitish Kumar had on Wednesday evening resigned as the Chief Minister of the Grand Alliance. This was PM Modi’s second tweet for Nitish Kumar, PM had earlier tweeted immediately after Nitish declared his resignation and had congratulated him. Nitish on the other hand had reverted back thanking Modi for his tweet.
