Indian Air Force Pilot Dies As MiG-21 Fighter Aircraft Crashes In Punjab, Inquiry Ordered

There was an aircraft accident last night involving a Bison aircraft of IAF in the western sector. The pilot, Squadron Leader Abhinav Choudhary sustained fatal injuries.

The cause of the accident and the damages are yet unknown. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident involving a Bison aircraft of IAF in the western sector
This is the third crash of a MiG-21 aircraft this year. In March, a Group Captain of the IAF was killed in an accident involving a MiG-21 Bison aircraft at an airbase in central India.
