Hyderabad student stabbed to death in USA, suspect arrested

New Delhi: A Telugu student, in a shocking incident, was stabbed to death in Austin, TX, said media reports. Sankeerth, a native of Hyderabad, was reportedly murdered by another Telugu origin student Sai Sandeep Goud (27). The suspect was arrested by Police. On Monday, July 18, 2016, Austin police officers responded to an emergency call from the Colonial Village at Quarry Oaks apartment complex. After reaching at the spot, the officers found two men attempting to load a male victim into a car. It appeared the male victim suffered from a stab wound to his abdomen. The medical services personnel also arrived and transported the male to Round Rock Hospital where the victim later died. As per the reports, victim (25) was from Hyderabad and residing in USA for past two years. Suspect has been booked into Travis County Jail for Murder – 1st Degree Felony.
