Hyderabad: AP minister’s son 'rams' Mercedes into metro pillar, dies

  Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, son of a Cabinet Minister of Andhra Pradesh died in a road accident in Hyderabad early Wednesday. 22-year-old Nishit Narayana , was son of Municipal Administration Minister P. Narayana. Nishit was travelling with his friend Raja Ravi Varma when the Mercedes Benz SUV in which they were travelling rammed into a pillar of Hyderabad Metro. The accident occurred on Road Number 36, Jubliee Hills, which is considered as a posh locality, around 3 a.m. As per the cops, the car was being driven at a high speed. Though it is yet to be asserted who was behind the wheel. Police said major injuries occurred as the impact of the collision was too high, resulting in their death. Narayana's family members rushed to Apollo Hospital, only to find the dead body of their son. P. Narayana was inducted into the cabinet of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in 2014. He was the Head of Narayana Group of Institutions and very recently, his took over from him as the Director of the group. In the similar incidents, sons of former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin, former ministers Babu Mohan and K. Venkat Reddy and veteran actor and BJP leader Kota Srinivas Rao were killed in different accidents in and around Hyderabad.
