Amit Shah To Visit Newly-Inaugurated Ayodhya Ram Mandir With Family On Feb 4

Home Minister Amit Shah, accompanied by his family, is scheduled to embark on a pilgrimage to seek darshan of Ram Lalla at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on February 4.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, accompanied by his family, is scheduled to embark on a pilgrimage to seek darshan of Ram Lalla at the revered Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on February 4.

The historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony, attended by representatives from major spiritual and religious sects across the country, saw participation from people of diverse backgrounds, including various tribal communities. Prime Minister Modi addressed this distinguished gathering on the occasion.

Prominent figures like BJP stalwart Lal Krishna Advani and Home Minister Amit Shah were notably absent from the event, despite the presence of leaders from the RSS, BJP, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad in Ayodhya.

Shah on Monday (January 22) observed prayers at the Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple, also known as Birla Mandir, in the national capital, coinciding with the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also partook in prayers at his residence, sharing his photo on social media with the caption, "On the historic day of 'Pran Pratishtha,' I worshiped and offered prayers at home. Jai Shri Ram!"

The unveiling of the idol of Ram Lalla at the Ram temple in Ayodhya occurred in the presence of Prime Minister Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Governor Anandi Ben Patel.

Arriving earlier in the day, PM Modi walked into the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, holding a silver umbrella on a folded red dupatta, leading rituals at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

The ceremony, characterised by a profound sense of devotion, witnessed chants of 'Jai Sri Ram' from devotees and guests. Over 8,000 guests have been invited to participate in the ceremony at the grand temple.
