Gujarat: Two CRPF Jawans Killed In Firing By Colleague Over Unknown Issue, Probe Underway
According to officials, two CRPF jawans were killed and two were injured when a colleague opened fire near Porbandar in Gujarat.
Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were killed and two others were injured when a colleague opened fire over an issue in a village near Porbandar, Gujarat, on Saturday evening, news agency PTI reported citing official sources.

These soldiers are from a CRPF battalion in Manipur. The Election Commission dispatched them here ahead of the Gujarat Assembly elections next month, according to Porbandar Collector and District Election Officer AM Sharma.
The first phase of voting in the Porbandar district will take place on December 1.
They were sheltering in a cyclone shelter in Tukda Gosa hamlet, which is roughly 25 kilometres from Porbandar.

"A jawan opened fire from his assault rifle on his colleagues over some unknown issue on Saturday evening. While two jawans died on the spot, two others were injured. They were shifted to a hospital in Jamnagar. One of them received a bullet injury in his stomach and the other was hit on his leg," Sharma was quoted as saying by PTI.

He further said that the investigation will be carried out by the police.
