In the Ahmedabad incident, the people who were showering notes were wearing PM Modi masks. It is yet to be asserted if they had anything to do with the party. Speaking on the issue, the singer in Ahmedabad said, “The money which has been showered will be used for charity and we will not use even a single rupee for us”. In the Vadodara incident, Gujarat Bharatiya Janta Party Chief Jitu Vaghani was also present. On being questioned about the same, Vaghani said that the money which is showered in any function in Gujarat, is used for religious purposes and is not taken home even by the artists. “The money is used to serve religious purposes” he said.
