Gujarat: Live bomb with timer discovered in Rajkot, diffused successfully

As per initial information received, the bomb was found in a cement factory in GIDC area of Rajkot and had a timer attached to it.

New Delhi: A major blast was averted as bomb squad successfully diffused a live time-bomb that was discovered in Gujarat’s Rajkot on Sunday morning. As per initial information received, the bomb was found in a cement factory in GIDC area of Rajkot and had a timer attached to it. The bomb-diffusing squad immediately took it away from residential area. The owner of the factory had informed the police about the bomb. Experts have informed that it was detonator that is typically used to break big boulders. The GIDC area of Metoda is an industrial hub where all the major plants and factories are located. As per reports, this is the second attempt of bomb-blast in Rajkot that has been foiled by the police. Previously, a similar incident had occurred at Rajkot’s Khoriyar. Watch:
