WATCH | Indore Tehsildar Makes Covid Lockdown Violators Do Frog Jumps
With the people not paying heed to the government’s orders asking them not to venture out of their homes during the Covid-19 lockdown, the Indore Police punished the people roaming on the streets by asking them to do frog jumps.
Indore: In a bizarre incident, a tehsildar in Debalpur of Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district punished the people roaming on the streets during the curfew imposed to curb the Covid-19 infection by asking them to do frog jumps.
This came to light after a video of the episode surfaced on social media.

With the people not paying heed to the government’s orders asking them not to venture out of their homes during the Covid-19 lockdown, the Indore Police had last year come up with a unique way to punish the violators while ensuring the message of “stay at home” reaches one and all.

The police personnel were seen rounding up the violators and making them exercise. The video of this novel way to punish the violators was shared by news agency ANI in April last year.
