Bihar: JDU-RJD ‘Poster-War’ Ahead Of 2020 Assembly Polls

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also slammed the NDA government in Bihar over the law and order situation.

New Delhi: With eyes on the assembly polls in Bihar due in the month of October-November 2020, the Janata Dal United (JDU)  has come up with new party slogan, inviting sharp reaction from the opposition party RJD. New hoardings with slogan ‘Kyun Kare Vichar, Thike To Hai Nitish Kumar’ (Why to rethink, when Nitish Kumar is good enough as CM) have been put up outside party headquarters. Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) leaders were of the view that it was too early to launch a slogan for the assembly polls. However, in a comeback, RJD also launched posters reading “Kyu na kare vichar, Bihar jo hai bimar” (Why shouldn’t we rethink when Bihar is ailing?). RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also slammed the NDA government in Bihar over the law and order situation. “Total collapse of law an order in Bihar. Lawlessness is out of control, Nitish govt has failed to take any action against the perpetrators. People are being killed mercilessly in broad day light & those responsible for heinous crimes are being given a free hand by NDA govt,” he tweeted. JDU’s new slogan is inspired by its previous popular slogan which was coined during the 2015 elections “Bihar mein Bahar Hai , Nitish-e-Kumar hai”.
