Elderly Covid-19 Patient Abandoned By Son, Delhi Police Constable Comes To The Rescue (WATCH)

Justifying the assertion that affection has no boundaries and stays forever, the constable named Raju Ram is personally attending to the elderly patient at the RML Hospital despite his hectic duty in the middle of the coronavirus crisis in a bid to ensure the man is fit and fine again.

New Delhi: Leaving aging parents alone and that too in the middle of the coronavirus crisis is indeed a sin. In a distressing incident, an elderly person was allegedly abandoned by his family in central Delhi’s Rajendra Nagar area as he was suffering from Covid-19.

A good samaritan Delhi Police constable, however, came to the rescue of this aged man and got him admitted to the Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital in the national capital.

Justifying the saying that affection and kidness sees no boundaries and stays forever, the constable named Raju Ram is personally attending to the elderly patient at the RML Hospital despite his hectic duty in the middle of the coronavirus crisis in a bid to ensure the man is fit and fine again.

The cop was also seen a bit perturbed as he looked to arrange oxygen for the aged, who gasped for breath.

The police personnel often draw public criticism over their rigid attitude but this noble gesture by the constable at a time when oxygen has become an emergency in Delhi with several hospitals in the city grappling with depleting oxygen supply deserves applause. The case of the elderly man was highlighted on Twitter by one Supriya Bhardwaj and is not clear when the video was shot. (ABP News could not independently verify the details of the story)
