Delhi Lockdown Full Guidelines: Shops, Malls, Weekly Markets & Schools Shut For 6 Days- Check What's Allowed, What's Prohibited
Delhi Coronavirus Lockdown Full Guidelines: As per the issued order on restrictions during the lockdown, essential services, food services, medical services will continue. Weddings can be held with a gathering of only 50 people, passes will be issued separately for it. Check what's allowed and what's prohibited.
Noticing the 'struggling health care system' due to the fourth Covid wave, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced to impose a six-day lockdown across national capital starting Monday (April 19) 10 PM till next Monday (April 26), 5 AM .
Speaking to the media today after crucial meeting with LD Anil Baijal, the Chief Minister said, "Delhi’s health system has been stretched to its limit, is under stress. Harsh measures will have to be taken to prevent a collapse of the health system."

According to the Chief Minister, around 23,500 cases were reported in the last 24 hours in Delhi. In last 3-4 days, around 25,000 cases have been reported. Positivity rate and infection have increased.
"In the next 6 days, we will make arrangements for more beds in Delhi. We thank Central govt for helping us. The lockdown period will be used to arrange oxygen, medicine. I request everyone to follow the guidelines," CM Kejriwal said.

Following categories of individuals are exempted from restriction of movement during lockdown
- Officers/ officials of government of India on production of valid I-Card.
- Offices of GNCT of Delhi shall remain closed expect those involved in essential and emergency services such as Health and Family Welfare, Police, Prisons, Civil Defence, Fire, Electricity, Water and Sanitation.
- Judicial officers/staff on production of valid I-Card.
- All private medical personnel on production of valid I-Card.
- Pregnant women and patients for getting medical/health services on production of Doctor's prescription.
- Persons who are going for COVID-19 testing or Vaccination on production of valid I-Card.
- Persons coming from/going to Airports/Railway stations on production of valid ticket.
- Electronic and print media on production of valid I-Card
- Students shall be allowed to appear in examination on production of valid Admit card.
- No restriction on inter/intra state movement of essential goods. No e-pass required.
- Ships dealing with food, groceries, fruits, vegetables, daity products, meat and fish shall be allowed
- Banks, ATMs and Insurance related offices shall be allowed
- Telecommunication, internet services, broadcating and cable services shall be allowed
- Delivery of essential goods including food medicines through e-commers shall be allowed
- Petrol pumps, LPG, CNG, Water supply, power generation, private security services, cold storage and warehousing services shall be allowed
- Manufacturing units of essential commodities shall be allowed
- Home delivery of food, take away by eateries shall be allowed
- Religious places shall be permitted to open, but no visitors allowed
- During curfew, movement of persons for marriage related gatherings up to 50 persons (on production of soft or hard copy of marriage card) and funeral related gatherings up to 20 persons is continued to be allowed
- Stadia permitted to open for organising national/international sports event, but without spectators.
Public transport shall be allowed: Delhi metro and Public buses (50% seating capacity); Autos and e-rickshows (2 passengers), Taxis and cabs (2 passengers), Maxi cabs (5 passengers), RTV (11 passengers).
What's prohibited?
Private officies, shops, shopping centres, malls, weekly markets, schools and colleges, cinemas, eateries and bars, public parks and gardens, gyms, spas, saloons, swimming polls and construction activities shall remain closed.
All social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, religious and other fatherings shall be prohibited.
