Eid Mubarak! PM Modi, President Kovind, Rahul Gandhi, Other Leaders Wish Nation On Eid Al-adha

New Delhi: Eid-ul-Azh is being celebrated across the country today with full enthusiasm. Greeting people on Eid al-Adha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday hoped that the festival will further the spirit of peace and happiness in the society. Eid al-Adha, also called festival of sacrifice, is being celebrated on Monday. "My best wishes on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. I hope it furthers the spirit of peace and happiness in our society. Eid Mubarak!," the prime minister wrote on Twitter.
President Ram Nath Kovind also extended his greetings to the citizens of the country and abroad, especially Muslim brothers and sisters, as a symbol of shared culture. "Eid Mubarak to all fellow citizens, especially to our Muslim brothers & sisters in India and abroad. Idu'I Zuha symbolizes love, fraternity and service to humanity. Let us commit ourselves to these universal values that represent our composite culture," he wrote on Twitter.My best wishes on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. On the other hand, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said in a congratulatory message that people will come close to each other and bring peace and harmony in the country and bring prosperity. "I extend my warm greetings to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of 'Id-ul-Zuha' The festival is an ode to the virtues of devotion, faith and sacrifice and inspires feelings of brotherhood, compassion and unity. #IdulZuha (sic)," he wrote. Meanwhile, other leaders like Rahul Gandhi too took to Twitter and wished people on this auspicious day.Eid Mubarak to all fellow citizens, especially to our Muslim brothers & sisters in India and abroad.
