Delhi: 63-year-old man stole to keep 5 girlfriends happy; arrested

One day by fate’s decree, he mistook a CCTV for a bulb and helped the police nab him down.

New Delhi: Delhi police has nabbed a 63-year-old man from Anand Parbat, who indulged in thefts to keep his 5 girlfriends happy. Bandhu Singh, who is a resident of Mangol Puri got into the business after getting rejected by his girlfriend around 10 years ago for not having enough money. That’s when Singh decided to ensure that money would never come in his way to reach out to a girl. Considering robbery as an easy way, he started indulging in small thefts. As no one got to know about his thefts, he started stealing big and starting targeting areas with no CCTV cameras. One day by fate’s decree, he mistook a CCTV for a bulb and helped the police nab him down. After being held, the Singh told the cops that he had to meet the demands of his 5 girlfriends and therefore he had to resort to stealing. Arresting Singh, helped cops crack at least 20 cases. All the stolen things have been recovered from him.
