Noida Withdraws Relaxation On Wedding Attendees, Limits Gatherings At Social Functions To 100

Noida District Magistrate (DM) Suhas L. Y. has appealed to all residents of the district to comply with the new U.P government order. He informed that strict action will be taken against those who violate the rules. The DM has directed the officials concerned to monitor all kinds of ceremonies, weddings and other events to be held in their respective areas.

As the coronavirus epidemic continues across the country, Uttar Pradesh's Noida district has reduced the maximum number of people allowed in the social gathering to a maximum of 100.

The national capital Delhi and neighboring states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have reported a sudden increase in coronavirus cases during the last few days. Recently, the Delhi government reduced the number of persons from the earlier limit of 200 to 50, allowed to attend a wedding or other social events in Delhi.

In view of the increasing cases of corona, the Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration has been alerted. While on the Delhi-Noida border, the Health Department team is conducting random tests for identifying Coronavirus positive cases. The authorities have informed that strict action will be taken against anyone who violates the Covid-19 protocols.

DM Suhas L. Y. order says, "In the wake of the rise in spread of Covid-19 pandemic, not more than 100 persons will be allowed to attend any function, marriage and other social event whether held outdoors or indoors."

The DM said that strict action would be taken as per law against those found violating the new order by the state government. He instructed all the local officials to ensure that people follow the prescribed guidelines.

"All the administrative and other officials concerned must ensure that all kinds of ceremonies, marriages and other social events held in their respective areas are not attended by more than 100 persons," the DM added.

For the past few days, cases of coronovirus infection have increased significantly in Delhi and to prevent further spread of the infection, the Delhi government has decided to limit the number of people in public works and other such programs.

In view of the increasing corona patients in Delhi, the Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration is acting strictly. The health department team on Delhi-Noida between Chilla and DND is conducting random Corona tests. During this, a person who is found to be Corona positive is not being given entry in Noida.
