Coronavirus HIGHLIGHTS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be holding a video conference with Chief Ministers of all states tomorrow, sources have claimed. The total number of Coronavirus cases in India escalated with 3277 new Covid-19 cases to 62,939 cases and the total countrywide death toll getting past the 2000-mark, as per the latest health update by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday morning. Of the total figure, 41,472 are active cases, 19,357 people have recovered, and 2109 people have lost their lives to the deadly contagion. Among the severaly impacted states, Maharashtra, followed by Gujarat, Delhi and Tamil Nadu remained the chart-topper. In the wake of the severity of infections in the states, the Centre has decided to rush teams to ten worst-hit states.
Maharashtra remained the worst hit state with a total number of cases rising to 20,228, followed by Gujarat which has reported 7796 cases. Delhi has 6542 cases, it is followed by Tamil Nadu which has 6535 cases. Maharashtra has also recorded 779 deaths so far, the highest number of casualties among all the states.
Out of roughly 7000 positive cases in Delhi, approximately 1500 are in hospital. Out of these 1500 in hospital, only 27 are on ventilator. Majority of cases are mild or asymptomatic, said Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
In a later development, 5 pilots of Air India are found COVID-19 positive, during the pre-flight COVID test which is carried out 72 hours before they are rostered for flight duties. All of them are asymptomatic and based in Mumbai. They had undertaken cargo flights to China, Air India Sources said.

He demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi ensured audit of donations made to the PM-CARES Fund, and to share the details and the money spent with the people.
