India has reported over 20,000 Coronavirus cases in a single day which is the lowest in 200 days
New Delhi: The country has registered a huge decline in Coronavirus cases as India reported 20,799 new COVID cases, 26,718 recoveries, and 180 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the bulletin released by Union Health Ministry.
The country's recovery rate is currently at 97.89% which is the highest since March 2020.

Kerala
Kerala on Sunday logged 12,297 fresh COVID-19 cases and 74 deaths, taking the caseload to 47,20,233 and the toll to 25,377.
The number of people who recovered from the infection since Saturday was 16,333, which brought the total recoveries to 45,57,199 and the number of active cases to 1,37,043, an official press release said.
As many as 88,914 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, it said.
Among the 14 districts, Ernakulam recorded the highest number of cases with 1,904, followed by Thrissur (1,552), Thiruvananthapuram (1,420) and Kozhikode (1,112).
Of the new cases, 50 were health workers, 61 from outside the state and 11,742 infected through contact, with the source of it not clear in 444.
There are currently 4,29,581 people under surveillance in various districts, of whom 4,12,902 are in home or institutional quarantine and 16,679 in hospitals.
Maharashtra
Maharashtra on Sunday reported 2,692 new coronavirus positive cases and 41 fatalities while 2,716 patients were discharged, the state health department said.
The new additions pushed Maharashtra's COVID-19 tally to 65,59,349, the death toll to 1,39,207 and the number of recoveries to 63,80,670, it said, adding that the state is now left with 35,888 active cases.
With 1,47,603 new tests, the number of samples examined in Maharashtra so far went up to 5,92,22,263.
Mumbai city reported 573 COVID-19 cases and three deaths during the day, taking the tally of infections to 7,44,389 and the number of fatalities to 16,125, the department said.
