UP CM Adityanath does not comment on Ayodhya matter, meets PM Modi in Delhi

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath traveled to Delhi on Tuesday. This would be marked as Yogi’s first visit to the national capital after taking oath as UP CM. Yogi is set to hold a meeting with party Chief Amit Shah and decide on department distribution of Ministers in his cabinet. Adityanath did not comment on SC suggesting out-of-court settlement of Ayodhya dispute. He met PM Modi. 45 ministers have taken oath in Yogi’s cabinet, but the department allocation is yet to take place. Yogi is also set to meet PM Modi and President Mukherjee. Yogi is scheduled to reach Delhi by 10 am on Tuesday and would visit Amit Shah’s residence thereafter. Yogi Government took charge of UP after a swearing-in ceremony on Sunday.  After taking charge of office, Yogi has asked his ministers to pull up their socks and work for the welfare of UP. Adityanath on Monday directed senior officials of the state to prepare a roadmap for "good governance and transparency" for all departments. Presiding over a meeting of the officials, Yogi handed them the Bharatiya Janata Party's vision document - Sankalp Patra - for the 2017 state assembly elections, and asked the bureaucrats to study the document and ensure its "speedy and complete implementation".
