BSY slams Siddaramiah over water wastage for his 'dust free ride'

Bengaluru (Karnataka): Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief B.S. Yeddyurappa on Tuesday criticised Chief Minister Siddaramiah over a tanker full of water being used to arrange a dust free ride for his convey at a time when the state is reeling under water crisis. Yeddyurappa told ANI, "When we are suffering from drought situation and are reeling under water crisis, in such a situation if water is used frivolously to arrange a dust free ride for the Chief Minister's convoy then the people will mock him." The road to Bilagipattna village in Karnataka's Bagalkot district was sprinkled with water before the Chief Minister's arrival. A tanker full of water was used to spray water on the road in order to prevent dust as the Chief Minister's convoy passed.
