Vaccine Crisis Created In Bengal As Govt Formed Syndicate: BJP's Dilip Ghosh Accuses CM Mamata
"Syndicates are in SSC, TET, contractual matters, police, everywhere. Party leaders are involved. Do you think no one knew that?", Ghosh commented.
Kolkata: After Trinamool MP Mimi Chakraborty's busted the fake vaccination camp at Kasba; BJP State President Dilip Ghosh has lambasted the TMC-ruled West Bengal government. This time, alleging the vaccine crisis is a creation of leaders and ministers claiming that Syndicate Raj is going on with vaccines, Ghosh has demanded that the government's data on vaccination be made available for the public to view.
"Why has the vaccine crisis been created? Why have the vaccines not been given even after these arrived? Vaccines are being sold at a very high price. It is created. Leaders, MLAs, and MPs are involved in this. This is going in front of people. Howcome police stations did not have any information about it? It is planned. Party people are involved in this. A syndicate with this is going on", he said.
He has further made claims that the state of vaccines in Bengal is being controlled by a syndicate.
"Syndicates are in SSC, TET, contractual matters, police, everywhere. Party leaders are involved. Do you think, no one knew that? It is being done intentionally to cheat the provisions made to the people, for the leaders to earn," he commented.
Complaining of not being given actual governmental data on covid vaccines he continued, "I have asked several times for the details of the number of vaccines received by the state, the number of given vaccines and stocks in hand. But it has not been given."
Slamming Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and accusing her of suppressing facts, he added, "The Chief Minister claims two crore vaccines to have been given. It has to be proved, whether two crores of vaccines have come or not. When have those come? Where had those been kept? How many people have been vaccinated? Where is the government's list of that? Trying to suppress the facts."
Ghosh further asserted that despite the center being blamed for lack of vaccination, the real culprit is the state government and the chief minister.
"Do you think they have not taken any information? They know everything. CM used to give out statements after anything new update. But no changes have been made. This type of loot will continue." He mentioned.
"Doesn't the police have any information about the illegal work related to sand, cattle, etc? Everyone gets their share from that." He added.
TMC MP Santanu Sen has alleged, The Government of India is biased in sending vaccines to states and has been doing it with a vested interest of not sending the quantity to the states in opposition in the quantity required.”
Similar claims were made by the Bengal BJP on their social media.
"The Modi govt has announced that from 21st June, everyone above the age of 18 will be vaccinated for free. It is not being obeyed in WB rather vaccines are being sold in the black market. Mamata Banerjee should publish a white paper on vaccination."
