BJP Meeting: Uttar Pradesh's Brahmin MPs Meet, Express Community's Displeasure With Administration

BJP Meeting News: Senior Brahmin leaders of the party met at the house of BJP's Uttar Pradesh in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan. All the Brahmin leaders expressed severe displeasure during the meet.

BJP Meeting: Senior Brahmin leaders of BJP met at the house of BJP's Uttar Pradesh in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan. In the meeting, all the leaders vented their discontent.

Two senior leaders told ABP News that there is resentment in the Brahmin community and that this perception of resentment of Brahmins cannot be considered good for elections and needs to change.

Notably, Minister of State for Home, Ajay Mishra Teni, stayed silent during the meeting.

Let us know what the leaders said in the meeting.

Aligarh MP, Satish Gautam said, "a man and his wife were sent to jail in the liquor scandal. He was a distinguished person of the society, he was the blockhead. It would have been okay if only he was sent to jail, but along with him, his wife too was sent to jail under the charges of making illicit liquor. This caused resentment in society. The death of his wife in prison further aggravated the community. They raised questions as to why his wife needed to be sent to jail."

Kanpur MP, Satyadev Pachauri said, "this perception may cause problems. Brahmins are not being heard, so there is nothing more to be said. There are many Brahmin ministers who do not work for Brahmins."

He said this by pointing to Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma. Brajesh Pathak, minister in the Yogi government, immediately said that if it is a matter about his department, he should be informed about it.

Pachauri further said that he is done with politics but it is up to others now to deal with it. There is anger among the people of the society.

Kannauj MP, Subrata Pathak said, "when Akhilesh (Yadav) was the Chief Minister, Kalanidhi Naithani was Kannauj SP and Naithani had thrashed him a lot. After the government was formed, we complained, he was first made at the Superintendent of Police of Lucknow, then Ghaziabad, and now Aligarh. Instead of punishing him, he was given posting in big districts, why? The worker is not being heard, officers tend to dominate."

The Brahmin community is hurt.

Shrikant Sharma, minister in the Yogi government, said that there is resentment in the society, but now we have to come forward and come together in the elections. Shiv Pratap Shukla, a resident of Gorakhpur and former Minister of State for Finance, remained silent like Ajay Mishra Teni almost all the time. Former state president Mahendra Nath Pandey said, "I have been talking about the perception made in the society in the past and it needs to be addressed."

MP from Noida, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, also said that he also believes that there is a general perception that there is resentment in the Brahmin community, but it should not happen. Allahabad MP Bahuguna Joshi reiterated the same.

Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra was also invited to the meeting of the Brahmin community leaders. He said that everyone should now end the differences and join hands for the party to win the elections. He added, "If we win, all the problems will be end."

Overall, in this meeting of Brahmin leaders, all the leaders vented their anger. After this meeting, a minister said that he felt better as everyone was able to express their concerns. There will be a meeting with the eminent people of the Brahmin community to know their concerns and to tell them that BJP is their biggest well-wisher. The party hopes that in this way a good message will be sent among the Brahmin community that the leaders of their society are being heard and will be heard in the future also. This will help in eliminating the perception of resentment created in the Brahmin community.
