Bihar: Gangster shot dead by unknown assailants inside Sitamarhi Court Complex

Jha met the same fate as of his accomplice Abhishek Jha who was eliminated by a rival gang inside Motihari court complex couple of days ago in a similar manner.

Patna:  Dreaded gangster Santosh Jha was gunned down by unknown assailants inside a court complex in Bihar’s Sitamarhi district Tuesday morning. He was shot dead while being brought to court from the jail for a hearing of a case. Jha was immediately rushed to Sadar hospital where he succumbed to bullet wounds. The attackers fled quickly after executing the crime.  No arrests have been made in this regard though a case has been registered. The notorious gangster was known for operating his gang actively in Sitamarhi and Sehohar districts. Jha’s gang was allegedly involved in the killing of two engineers in Sitamarhi district. Reports say in a very short duration, the gangster ascended into the field of crime. Jha met the same fate as of his accomplice Abhishek Jha who was eliminated by a rival gang inside Motihari court complex couple of days ago in a similar manner. The killing of Jha comes at a time when the Opposition in Bihar has accused the Nitish government of giving criminals a free run in the state.
