PM Modi To Up BJP's Campaigning Armada In Bihar From Oct 23, To Address 3 Rallies On First Day
BJP, which is contesting Bihar Elections in coalition with CM Nitish Kumar Janata Dal United (JDU), has moved a gigantic campaign armada in the state by deploying as many as 30 star campaigners.
Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick-start his political campaign for the much crucial Bihar Assembly elections from Friday, holding few mega-rallies in Sasaram, Gaya and Bhagalpur constituencies. As per the schedule shared by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Prime Minister will address as many as 12 rallies in the state. Assembly polls in Bihar will be conducted in three phases - October 28, November 3, and 7 and the counting of votes will take place on November 10.
According to reports, PM Modi will hold rallies in Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Patna on October 28, while constituencies including Chhapra, East Champaran, Samastipur, West Champaran, Saharsa and Araria will witness Prime Minister's presence on November 3.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which is contesting Bihar Assembly polls in coalition with CM Nitish Kumar Janata Dal United (JDU) has moved a gigantic campaign armada in the state by deploying as many as 30 star campaigners including PM Modi, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and BJP National Chief JP Nadda.
With an aim to reach out to maximum people keeping in mind the Covid-19 pandemic and Election Commission's guidelines, the BJP has decided to telecast PM Modi's rallies digitally in Bihar.
Bihar Assembly election in-charge for BJP Devendra Fadnavis informed that his party will hold meetings in every five villages of constituency through LEDs to ensure social distancing on the backdrop of Covid-19.

The saffron party also said that PM Modi’s rallies will have restricted entry and the guidelines for Covid-19 issued by the Election Commission of India will be followed strictly.
Earlier in the day, BJP released its manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections in Bihar with a slogan of Bhajpa Hai Toh Bharosa Hai' (Where there is BJP, there is Trust).
The BJP manifesto promised free Covid-19 vaccine for everyone in the poll bound state. Meanwhile, the opposition parties including Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress criticised the saffron party's agenda for selling the 'fear of death'.
The ruling party at the Centre, BJP has unveiled the '5 Phases, 1 goal, 11 promises' to woo the voters in the state. The saffron party has also promised to provide 19 lakh jobs in the state countering RJD's manifesto that vows to give 10 lakh jobs.
