Bihar: Bag containing 200 answer sheets of class 10th 2018 Matric exam goes missing; result to be out tomorrow

The shocking incident has again raised questions on the education and security arrangements in Bihar after the class-12 board scam came to light in 2016.

Bihar: Just a day ahead of state class 10^th Matric 2018 exam results, a bag containing 200 answer sheets of the exam went missing from a school in Gopalganj. The incident took place at SS Balika Inter School, Where the papers were kept after checking and filing the result. The shocking incident has again raised questions on the education and security arrangements in Bihar after the class-12 board scam came to light in 2016. Following the incident, the school authorities have registered a complaint and police have begun their investigation. The 2016 Bihar school examination scandal  came into limelight on 31 May 2016 when the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Arts and Humanities topper Ruby Rai, Science topper Saurabh Shrestha and third topper in Science stream Rahul Kumar were interviewed by television channels and they were unable to answer to basic questions. The matter further escalated after it came to light that the toppers passed the examinations via cheating.
