Rainfall Causes Waterlogging, Severe Infrastructure Damage In Ayodhya, Monsoon Advances In Delhi-NCR

Rainfall further led to waterlogging in parts of Ayodhya. Earlier this week, the Chief Priest of the Ram Mandir had said that water had been leaking from the ceiling during rainfall.

Nearly six months after the inauguration of the Shri Ram Janambhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, the city is grappling with severe infrastructural challenges due to heavy rain and thunderstorms early Wednesday morning. The downpour exacerbated existing issues, with Rampath, a major road near Vidya Mandir School, suffering damage despite recent repairs, Times Now reported.

As per the reports, authorities quickly responded by closing the affected section from Vidya Mandir School to the District Hospital, using barriers and deploying JCB machines to level the damaged area.
