All Is Not Well For Maharasthra's MVA Govt? Know Why The Question Is Being Asked

Ever since the Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress formed the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra, Congress has been expressing its displeasure from time to time.

Is all not well in the Maha Vikas Aghadi? Is Congress not happy? Is the BJP growing closer to Shiv Sena? All these questions have come to the fore because of what is happening in the state's politics.

Ever since the Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress formed the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra, Congress has been expressing its displeasure from time to time. Now, CM Uddhav Thackeray and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar have been directly targeted by Congress state president Nana Patole.

Patole alleged that the CM and the Deputy CM were keeping a tab on his movement. "They receive reports about everything. Who is protesting where, everything needs to be updated. They even know what I am doing. The CM and Deputy CM are keeping a watch on me," Patole had said while addressing Congress workers in Lonavala on Saturday.

Nana Patole, without naming Deputy CM Ajit Pawar also said the "minister in charge of Pune" belongs to Baramati. There are complaints that he doesn't do the work of Congress workers.

On one hand, the Congress is directly targeting the Shiv Sena and NCP, while on the other hand, Shiv Sena is praising the country's new Co-operative Minister Amit Shah in the editorial of its mouthpiece 'Saamana.'

In such a situation, there is speculation whether Shiv Sena-BJP can come together again before the 2022 BMC elections. However, experts believe that it seems less likely at the moment.

There are two big reasons for this - one is making Narayan Rane a minister from the BJP quota and the other is the suspension of 12 BJP MLAs from the Maharashtra assembly by the government.

NCP has also responded to Nana Patole's allegation. Nawab Malik said that Nana's statement is based on incomplete information.

If experts are to be believed, Congress understands that if it fights in alliance, it will have to contest on fewer seats. Congress already has its own support base in Maharashtra. The more seats it contests, the more it will benefit the party in getting a stronghold all over Maharashtra.

However, the statements from Congress have put the NCP in trouble and perhaps this is the reason why Sharad Pawar had to say that he doesn't respond to the statements by insignificant people like Nana Patole. But it is also no secret that without the help of Congress, NCP will not be able to do anything in Maharashtra because most Dalit and Muslim votes still stand with Congress.
