Air Hostess Dies After Falling from Bengaluru Building, Boyfriend Arrested On Murder Charge

A 28-year-old air hostess died after falling from the balcony of a four-story building in Bengaluru on Friday night. The boyfriend has been apprehended, and a murder charge has been filed against him, news agency ANI reported.

Archana Dhiman, who had just arrived in Bengaluru from Dubai four days before the tragedy, has been confirmed as the deceased. She was staying with Adesh, a techie who works at a metropolitan software business.
According to the preliminary investigation, the pair met on a dating website and had been in a relationship for six months. Adesh claimed during the interrogation that they used to quarrel a lot.
"They both met through an app, 6 months ago. The guy works in Bengaluru & woman was working in Dubai. They both used to meet frequently. They also met on the day she died. The woman belongs to Himachal & man belongs to Kerala. The probe is underway," DCP CK Baba, South-East Bengaluru said.

They were drinking on the night of the accident when she fell from the building's balcony, according to Adesh. She was later taken to a neighbouring hospital, where she was found dead.
The police have charged accused Adesh with murder on suspicion of his participation in the woman's death. The accused has been taken into police custody while the results of the post-mortem examination are anticipated.
"We have taken the accused into custody and he will be produced in the court," DCP CK Baba stated.
