AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Delhi's RML Declare Half-Day On Jan 22. Emergency Services To Continue

AIIMS Bhubaneswar announced on Sunday that it will have a half-day holiday until 2:30 PM to celebrate Pran Pratishtha of Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 22, news agency ANI reported. This development comes a day after AIIMS Delhi scheduled a half-day holiday until 2:30 PM.
Declaring a half-day holiday, the office of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar issued a circular, that read: “...the Competent Authority/AIIMS, Bhubaneswar has decided that AIIMS, Bhubaneswar will observe half day closing till 14.30 hours on 22nd January 2024, to enable its employees to participate in the celebrations of of the Ram Lalla Pranpratishtha at Ayodhya on 22nd January, 2024 across India, without any interruption of the essential hospital services.”

In accordance with the Centre's instruction, the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Connaught Place, Delhi, has declared that its OPD and other administrative departments would be closed for normal work till 2:30 p.m. on January 22.
The hospital's director stated that emergency services will continue as usual, and the OPD registration counter will open at 1:30 p.m.
Lady Hardinge Hospital in Connaught Place and Safdarjung Hospital will both be closed for half the day on January 22.
Earlier on Saturday, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena approved a half-day for all government agencies, Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), autonomous bodies, corporations, and boards in the national capital to commemorate the inauguration of the Ram Mandir.
Ram Lalla 'Pran Pratishtha' Ceremony
The vedic rites for Ram Lalla's 'Pran-Pratishtha' celebration in Ayodhya began on Tuesday, one week before the major ceremony.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to attend the Ram Temple's Pran Pratishtha event on January 22. He has already began an 11-day special ritual in preparation for Shri Ramlal's Pran Pratishtha at the Ayodhya shrine.
