AAP appoints Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi as Punjab convenor
Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday appointed political satirist and actor Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi as the party's Punjab convenor in place of Sucha Singh Chhotepur, who was removed from the post after a video clip surfaced showing him allegedly taking bribes in exchange for poll tickets. The political affairs committee of the party cleared Ghuggi's name for the post, a party release said here, adding that he will take charge soon.
